Slut shaming?

What do we think of men like Roosh V?  What do we think of pick up artists?  Would we classify them as quality men worth spending the rest of our lives with?  If we, as women, know that we bring value into a man’s life, why would we settle for jerks?

If you agree with the above, then why are we so anti slut shaming?  What are the ‘sexually liberated’ women doing so differently from pick up artists and men who sleep around?  Sex is still cheapened.  Bodies are still cheapened.  If we condemn men for the act, why not women as well?

If feminists claim that feminism is about fighting for equality amongst the sexes, then whatever qualities we deem are deplorable in men, we should extend the same to women.  After all, man or woman, they’re still living without a sense of shame.

There’s a difference between being a prude and having a sense of modesty.  There’s a difference between dressing seductively and dressing like a slut.  There’s a difference between quality men and women and those who’re not.

If we hold ourselves to high moral standards, people will see it.  There’s no need to broadcast it to the world and post numerous images on social media platforms.  If we take care of ourselves, similarly, people will notice.

When our privates are seen by the public in the skimpiest of thongs, what makes them special to our partners?  Why should they put in effort to woo us if others can see the same thing as them without putting in anything at all?

Of course people judge.  This is a fact of life.  Rather than label everything shaming, I would view it as a difference in values and perspectives.

Wishing you fun,
