#BodyLove 2016 – Chicken chicken chicken!

This girl loves her meat.  While there’re people who embrace vegetarianism or a vegan diet and reap the benefits, it doesn’t work for me.  I love meat and plenty of it.  Clean eating doesn’t mean cutting out all the good stuff and despite eating rather healthily, there’s plenty of leeway and freedom with food when our professions don’t demand a lot of discipline.


Emperor chicken – also known as Pavillion chicken, Beggar’s chicken – is steamed with Chinese herbs and red dates.  It’s healthy, delicious and restores much needed energy and vitality, especially during stressful times.  My man took me for some when I was feeling very drained : )


I really don’t understand how the Fat Acceptance and HAES liars got the idea that one has to adopt a rabbit diet in order to eat healthy.  Wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong!  I eat curries often and they’re much more nutritious than the junk food they indulge in on a daily basis.

It’s not just steamed veggies.  It’s not just bland and boring food.  Healthy eating is part indulging in moderation and part eating fresh, wholesome food.  Try it.  You’ll feel less lethargic after your meals!
