A question that should be easy enough to answer:
What defines a loser?
The characteristics that come to mind are: selfish, entitled, lazy, unmotivated, stupid, greedy, spineless and whiny, just to name a few. All they do is bitch about those who’re more successful, wealthier, more capable and driven.
Losers think they deserve the same jet planes, luxurious living, designer goods, fancy cars, sprawling homes, acknowledgement, recognition, fame and respect yet they’re not willing to put in any effort nor do the work.
Do they deserve respect? Do they deserve all the extras in life?
Winners, on the other hand, put in the long hours – whether it is for work or training for competitions. They take care of themselves and work to have all facets of their lives in order. They’re confident, energetic and full of passion.
Do they deserve respect and what they achieved? Of course!
Losers are among the most bitter and negative people on earth because of their beliefs and attitudes. They don’t acknowledge the hard work and long hours the winners put in to have what they do. Instead, they call it ‘privilege’.
Listen, as a kid, my parents taught that there’s no such thing as a free lunch and nobody owes us a living. Whatever we want, we need to work hard as hell for it. An ex colleague asked what I did to reach my current position, my response was, “I paid my dues.”
There’s no shortcut in life to reach the very highest we can reach. Everything comes at a price and it depends on whether we’re prepared to pay the price. The attitude towards this is what separates a winner from a loser.
Make it your resolution in 2016 to be a winner. Love your body the way a winner does. Take care of it the way a winner does. I can assure you, you’ll be as confident as any winner out there when you succeed. Don’t give up so easily : )
Wishing you fun,
