On Christmas Eve, everyone officially works half a day. Unofficially, we pretty much spend the time having fun. Some of the team hammed it up for the cameras and distributed presents. Because of my sick relative, I hadn’t had the time to shop for gifts, but the team was so understanding and sweet about it : )
And they still found joy giving ME presents! I was so touched : ) It pays to be nice and feminine in the office; I wouldn’t enjoy such lovely relationships with them if I were a domineering, demanding and overly competitive person.
People of all sizes and occupations are welcome as friends. If everyone respects the rights of others around them and doesn’t expect to have one’s way all the time, we have a very harmonious environment! This is what we’ve achieved together : )
We’re colleagues but at the same time, we’re also friends : ) We play, tease and aren’t afraid to laugh at ourselves. Keeping everything cordial eventually wins people’s hearts, even those hellbent on disliking you in the first place!
Ultimately, life is far more meaningful as a woman when it isn’t a competition all the time. Competitive traits are attractive in men, but they’re not in women. Call me traditional, I don’t care. Being the way I am helps me build meaningful and pleasant relationships with both genders.
And the young girls barely out of their teens who’re with us? They love me! 😀 They love feeling included and I make sure they’re not left out of anything. If they leave, I would hope they have wonderful memories of being part of a fun-loving and dynamic team. So far, they’re pretty happy here, so it’s working : )
Christmas is the season of giving and love, but what is stopping us from giving and loving everyday? For this team, Christmas is a day to celebrate what we’ve been doing everyday – having fun, joking, making daily life as interesting as possible during the time we’re together.
Merry Christmas! 😀
Wishing you fun,
