Body positive – soft shell crab curry rice

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you would’ve come across comments such as these:

I need to starve in order to lose weight.

I was skinny but unhappy because I was starving myself.

Skinny girls are frequently angry because they’re starving themselves.

There’re different variations of the above in order to justify giving up and returning to unhealthy eating habits.  Just how true are these delusional comments?  I’ll tell you – wholly and utterly false.  Do you really want to lie to yourselves that you’re happy when you know deep inside that what you’re eating is junk?

I’m sure many of you have way more common sense than to believe such lies.  They’re pathetic, untrue and harmful – and you know it.  It’s up to you whether you want to face the truth, own up to it and make a positive change to your life.  It’s up to you whether you want to lead a better quality life for your loved ones.

I derive enough energy and nutrition from a meal of rice and soft shell crab with curried eggs to walk around at a quick pace and feel comfortably full.  Strangely, I don’t feel angry at the world and get along with people.  In the comments section of various articles, it’s ironically the body militants who’re the angriest and most aggressive.

They’re the ones viciously attacking everyone else and accusing them of fat shaming and concern trolling.  Hmm, anyone else noticed this?  Many people eat the same amount as I do and they aren’t hangry.  They get through the day with happy and pleasant interaction with colleagues, family members, acquaintances and friends.

So who are the really hangry ones?

Certainly not the folks who try to live healthily!

Wishing you fun,
