Body Positive – 2 ways with chicken, pasta sauce, cheese

Cooking is fun, isn’t it? : )  Healthy eating isn’t that boring, is it?  There’re so many recipes to try online and tweak to suit our palates.  A bonus is serving our food and having our loved ones happily devour everything!  What’s there not to love about healthy eating and cooking? : )  Don’t believe the lies the Fat Acceptance/HAES/Body Positive loony bins tell you.

‘How dare you!  M…m…muh fee fees are hurt!  You’re ruining our aim of preventing the obese from getting healthier!’

So here I’ll show you 2 really tasty meals you can prepare in your kitchen.  They’re really not that difficult at all.  Poke holes in chicken thighs – boneless in the first recipe and with the bone in the second – and marinade overnight with soy sauce, sherry, mixed herbs and black pepper.


The recipe for the potatoes can be found in the deliciously healthy beer food entry which I’d already posted previously, if you want it.  For the chicken, it’s by and large the same.  Melt butter at medium heat and mix in a little soy sauce.  Fry the chicken till it’s cooked through, then stir in pasta sauce and cheddar cheese slices.


Sprinkle mixed herbs and black pepper, then when the cheese has melted, add a generous dash of sherry and serve immediately.


Simple, right???!!

‘No it’s not!  We don’t have enough time as we work a gazillion jobs, run the house, do errands and by the time we get home, we’re so exhausted that we just want to lie on the couch and eat pre-packaged diet food!’
